The newly revamped Pantai Serasa was officiated by His Royal Crown Prince on 18th March 2014. The beach was re-designed with a shift of vehicular access to the west side stretch of the spit, providing a greater entended width for the usage of the beach and green area for visitors. The beach is still popular for water sport activities. The beach is still popular for water sport activities, fishing, family gathering espically during the weekend and sunset watching.
