ARMECS Draughting is an Industry-Based Training Program designed to enrich the graduates with hands-on skills and competency in Computer Aided Draughting in three (3) Different disciplines, that is, Architectural, Mechanical, & Electrical and civil & Structural, trained by the experts for the construction industry.
The program aims to meet the requirement of the construction industry for more enjoyable graduates. The objective is to enchance the graduate's employability as Draughtsman.
The graduate trainees will undergo a structure training program. the training delivery will be based onn 20% on attainment of Awareness and knowledge and 80% on experience in Draughting skills in the three (3) disciplines.

- Basic fundemental of M&E calculation for drafting
| - Duties and responsibilities of draftsman in C&S firm
- Understanding the role of C&S Consultant in the submission of drawing to authorities
- Understanding the regulation and requirement of relevant authority in submission of drawing and project implementation e.g ABCi, TCP, Bomba, PBD12, etc
- Understanding the stages of project implementation in construction
- Understanding of basic design, terms and contents of C&S drawing

Experience

- Expose to the site inspection of the existing/ on-going/ completed projects
- Assign to real/ completed project
- Understanding on application of 3D modelling software e.g Google Sketchup, 3Ds Max (Optional)

ARMECS Draughting targets those students who have just graduated or unemplyed graduates in the following areas:
- Politeknik Brunei (PB) Level 5 Diploma in Interior Design
- Politeknik Brunei (PB) Level 5 Diploma in Architecture
- IBTE Level 4 HNTec in Design and Draughting
- IBTE Level 4 HNTec in Constuction Engineering or
- Any other disciplines relevent to the above form local and international institutions

Having completed the ARMECS Draughting training program, the graduate trainees should be:
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Industry ready
- Experience in draughting of real-life projects
- Well Aware of the expectation of the employer
- Experience in working environment
- Draughting in 3 different disciplines in the construction industry
- No or minimal training when employed after completing ARMECS training
