HSE – THE KEY FOR A SAFER WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is an important component that is practiced in all the projects carried out by the Department.
In PWD, HSE is promoted vigorously to everyone within the Department, as well as the key holders such as consultants and contractors under the Ministry of Development. In-house training courses on HSE are organized to promote and inculcate the HSE culture within the workforce. Site safety audits are performed for all projects under the Ministry of Development.

We work closely to prevent risks and accidents from occuring in the construction industry and to create a HSE aware culture within the workforce. Other than practicing and promoting HSE within the construction industry, PWD have also published guidelines, booklets and manuals on HSE for the construction industry.
